Raising the profile of our ‘Submit A Story’ setup today on our staff homepages as we start the new 1/2 term. We all know for a fact that there are lots & lots of great stories happening out there in the College on a day to day basis but such is the Teacher workload these days they often don’t get the chance to follow up on publicising what goes on as much as they would like. The ‘Submit A Story’ setup has been around for a while now but I’m hoping by flagging it up again people will see how quick & easy it is to use. Looking forward to seeing the articles.

We got chatting about G & T and he wondered about the possibility of setting up a mini-site.
First thing Monday I completed a new WordPress install, created some G&T themed graphics & WP theme tweaks and Bob’s Yer Uncle by breaktime he wish was my command.
He’s a big fan of his iPad so I also enabled remote publishing and got him to install the free WP app. After 20 minutes of inset today he’s off & flying.
It promises to be an active & interesting blog.
Currently about 1/2 way through developing a new home for ’575 Guy’ and his team of Super Techies.

The ‘Wave’ is a way of recording all the student interventions for additional support so that the SEN team have an up to the minute database of actions being taken.

The Exam Support forum for Business Studies will allow Students to share good revision practice, resources & ideas over the Christmas period before their exam in January.
The page includes a quick post ‘Wall’ and an email contact form which goes to tutors.
