This weeks session consisted of  putting our wheel hardware sets together & fitting them to the boards. The basic procedure was to remove the bolt & speed washers from the trucks, then add a single spacer to the axle. A speed washer was then put back and the wheel containing the back bearing was added. Tonight students applied grip tape to increase “friction”. In the manufacture of the skateboard we have areas where we try and reduce “friction” and areas where we try to increase “friction”. Can you identify where?
