North Devon School Surf Competition 2011

A team of surfers from Bideford College battled it out in the Open & Tag team events at this years North Devon Schools Surf Competition held at Saunton Sands last Friday.
In some keenly fought heats in some pretty appalling blown out surf conditions & against some tough opposition from Braunton, Ilfracombe, Kingsley School & Budehaven we progressed to the semi-finals in the Open competitions.
This years tag team event was particularly well contested and we narrowly missed out on a podium finish with Budehaven, coached by ex-Bideford legend Mr Reay, winning the trophy to take it across the border. Well done.
